Shoulder injury

If you have suffered a Shoulder injury as an innocent victim in the last three years you may be legally entitled to compensation for pain and suffering and other losses resulting from the accident.

Provided that the accident was caused by the negligence of another party you should have valid claim. Examples of circumstances where a shoulder injury may be caused are :-

  1. Slips, Trips, Falls - on roads, footpaths etc, on Third Party premises such as shops or restaurants.
  2. At Work - slips trips or falls, lifting accidents, construction site accidents.
  3. Sporting Accidents - whilst some injuries are accepted as inevitable in sport there are situations where a legimate claim for injury damages would exist eg. reckless or malicious conduct by an opponent, defects in playing surfaces.
  4. Road Accidents - including injuries suffered whilst entering or leaving a vehicle.
Frequent shoulder injuries are sprains which may result from falling, twisting of the shoulder or a jarring blow damaging a joint by disrupting the muscles, tendons and ligaments. Depending on the type of accident injuries could include cuts, bruising or grazing. More serious would dislocation of the shoulder or broken bones.

Shoulder injuries can involve considerable pain which may be confined to the shoulder but may also be felt in the arm or areas surrounding the shoulder.

Another cause of shoulder injury is repetitive overuse of the shoulder or other joint, usually in the course of an occupation. This may be referred to as Repetitive Strain Injury or Work Related Upper Limb Disorder and is an increasing source of claims for compensation.

If you have suffered a shoulder injury and would like to know whether you may be entitled to compensation please complete the Application Form and we will provide a Free Legal Assessment of your claim. We will handle your claim on a No Win No Fee basis at no cost to you.
