Tinnitus claim

It is well known that many thousands of employees have suffered loss of or impaired hearing as a result of having worked in a noisy environment. However, another condition which can result from exposure to excessive noise is Tinnitus or "ringing in the ears".

Tinnitus results from damage to hair cells in the inner ear which may then be in constant movement causing a ringing, hissing, humming or buzzing in the ear. It may affect just one ear but more commonly occurs in both. It may be temporary or permanent depending or the cause.

There are certain "natural" conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, build up of ear wax, and ear infections which may make noises caused by Tinnitus more noticeable. The ageing process can also be a cause of the condition.

Injury to the head or neck (eg. whiplash injury) can also cause Tinnitus. Where this results from an accident caused by another person a claim for compensation against the responsible party may be possible.

If you are suffering from Tinnitus caused by a noisy working environment or personal injury you may be entitled to compensation. Please complete the Application Form and we will provide a Free Legal Assessment of your case. We will handle your claim on a No Win No Fee basis at no cost to you.
